Abbott & Costello Hold That Ghost RARE Lobby Card, 1941 . Anyone who collects A&C knows the rarity of lobby cards or ANY paper for that matter from this early 1941 title. Highly sought after by collectors these lobby cards appear on rare occasion. Most of the cards in this set were "dead cards" meaning not featuring A&C or not a very good scene. TWO are the exception and this is one of them. This card us in very good-excellent condition with pinholes on top and bottom border and a couple in the center, barely noticable. A real gem and one of the BEST cards of the set! Hold That Ghost (Universal, 1941). Lobby Card (11" X 14"). Bud Abbott and Lou Costello star as a pair of hapless service station employees who unwittingly inherit a haunted estate from gangster Moose Mattson. A perfect set-up for the comedy duo, they are joined by a couple of crooked lawyers, and stranded bus passengers --Evelyn Ankers, Richard Carlson, and a professional screamer played by Joan Davis (a must for any haunted house tale). This is one of Abbott and Costello's best films, with the iconic scene of the "moving candle" that scares Costello to the point where he cannot speak, and guest appearances by the Andrew Sisters. A fantastic lobby card very rarely seen foe sale, this is a must-have for all fans of the comedy pair.
